The Menu

Authentic Mughlai Food

Age-old Mughlai recipes followed religiously in their original form, with no short-cuts.

10.jpg

Kabab Zai (Seekh Kabab)

Kababs (Miutton/Chicken)

Zai and Kabab Alborz were considered as elite, complicated and time consuming, hence, both remained restricted to the boundaries of royal palaces. But the fact is that their taste pays back all the investment of time and effort.

Advice: It can be taken either with Khasta Paratha, or with plain Tawa Roti or Rumali Roti.

9.jpg

Kabab Alborz

Kababs (Miutton/Chicken)

Rarest of rare Kababs, the king of Kababs, with a heavenly aroma and taste. The amount of time and effort needed to prepare it to perfection, made it a “luxurious food”. Hence, these kababs remained restricted to the kitchens of Nawabs.

Advice: It can be taken either with Khasta Paratha, or with plain Tawa Roti or Rumali Roti. One Alborz may be enough for a single person.

12.jpg

Kabab Mushk

 Kababs (Miutton/Chicken)

Mildly spiced, scrumptious Kababs that goes well with fresh, plain Tawa Roti or Rumali Roti, or with Khasta Paratha.

11.jpg

Kabab Mardaan (Chapli Kabab)

Kababs (Miutton/Chicken)

Dry and spicy kababs. Served with especial Green Chutney.

Advice: These kababs can be taken as snacks, or with fresh or “baasi” Tawa roti.

13.jpg

Shaami Kabab

Kababs (Miutton/Chicken)

Shaami in its original form. Stuffed with green chillies, onion, coriander, ginger....

Advice: It should be taken with Rumaali roti, or with Biryani Khas. Baasi Shaami with baasi roti has its own amazing experience.

6.jpg

Murgh Shahi

Chicken Qorma

One of the most scrumptious preparations of Chicken. A well-balanced dish, neither too hot nor sweetish or creamy.

Advice: Take it with fresh & hot plain Tawa Roti or Rumali Roti, without onions, salad, chutney, etc. Soft-drinks/liquor are inimical to Mughlai food, avoid it, and get the best results.

4.jpg

Ishtu Shirazi

Mutton Stew

Prepared with Mutton pieces (on-bones). Its amazing taste, and mystical aroma made it a “must to have dish” at royal dining tables.

Advice: Take it with fresh & hot plain Tawa Roti or Rumali Roti, without onions, salad, chutney, etc. Soft-drinks/liquor are inimical to Mughlai food, avoid it, and get the best results.

Spicy Kali Mirch Chicken (Murgh Badami)

Chicken Qorma

A unique, mild-spicy, Persian dish. It stands-out of other Chicken preparations due to its unique taste and aroma.

3.jpg

Qorma Pakhtun

Mutton Qorma

The most scrumptious Qorma you have ever had. Do not compare it with any other Qorma. This is completely different. You would surely love its aroma and taste. Prepared using Mutton pieces.

Advice: It should be taken with fresh and hot Khameeri Tandoori Roti, without any salad, chutney, onions, etc. Soft-drinks/liquor are inimical to Mughlai food, avoid it, and get the best results.

5.jpg

Biryani Khas

Mutton Biryani

Biryani in its pure form, based on the original “kachchi dum Biryani” recipe brought from Persia, centuries back. If prepared the original way, Biryani should be complete in its own, without requiring any Salan, Raita, Pickle or Salad. Biryani Khas has the original taste and heavenly aroma. Prepared with Mutton pieces (on bones).

Advice: To get 100% of its taste, the correct way is to have it with hand, instead of spoon and fork. For a richer, real taste, it is necessary to grab a piece of meat with some rice, then give a gentle press with the fingers such that a bit of bone extract from the grains of rice comes out, and then enjoy the Morsel (Niwaala).

7.jpg

Murgh Soandh

Chicken Qorma

Advice: Take it with fresh & hot plain Tawa Roti or Rumali Roti, without onions, salad, chutney, etc. Soft-drinks/liquor are inimical to Mughlai food, avoid it, and get the best results.
